Bug Description

Quickshot should allow custom usernames and hostnames (instead of defaulting to "quickshot" and "quickshot-computer"), or at least have more "human" defaults for each language (like "John" and "John's Laptop" and so on), as defined by the respective translation teams. The current defaults make little sense in the context of the manual, especially so in languages other than English.

In the next release we are allowing projects to use a different user name other than "quickshot". (i.e a more human one) . I don't think doing one for each language is achievable due to the way system language choices are made.

Thank you for reporting the bug.

John Smith, while definitely English-centric, seems like it'd be recognized in every nationality as a stereotypical Western name, which should be enough to get the "This could be you!" message across.

That's what I'd vote for.
