Hi, GL, TR and PL were special cased. They overlapped with existing content types so the server admins optioned instead to use a different extension. I'm not able to find the solution for gl but tr became tu and pl became po. I believe I spoke with Chris Jones on this matter but I think any of the sysadmins can look to see what the extension became.

TR and PL were fixed and the translation script is renaming them.

I am not sure what is the new extension for GL since there were no GL translation in previous releases.

You can name gl as gal. We are fighting against ICANN to achieve the .gal (http://puntogal.org/?lg=ing) so extension could be used.
