thunderbird get stucked few seconds after start

Trace attached, -d option do not work properly. Where could I find the binary for run it with gdm?

It's my guess that you don't want -d, as that puts in strace debugging information. As in, information useful to the developers of strace.

What might be more helpful is the -f or -ff flags. These flags tell strace to follow all sub processes as well, not just the first script process. For example

$ strace -f thunderbird > thunderbird_trace.txt

I meant -d option directly for thunderbird, this option should (if I am right) run thunderbird binary in gdb.
