Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

I have only noticed this with one particular feed -- the URL is http://blog.ctc-cambridge.org.uk/feeds/posts/default . Liferea crashes a second or so after clicking on any of the items in this feed, I think just as the images have been loaded.

When running liferea from the terminal, the following messages were produced:

(liferea:8038): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_cookie_domain_matches: assertion `host != NULL' failed
(liferea:8038): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_cookie_domain_matches: assertion `host != NULL' failed

(liferea:8038): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_cookie_domain_matches: assertion `host != NULL' failed
(liferea:8038): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_cookie_domain_matches: assertion `host != NULL' failed

Liferea did receive signal 11 (Segmentation fault).

Confirmed with mentioned feed. Workaround is to disable javascript from tools -> preferences -> browser.

Changed in liferea (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed

I have "Disable Javascript" ticked and am getting the same errors from this feed: http://www.newyorkshitty.com/?feed=rss2 though it doesn't crash lifrea. For me the workaround was to pull the Feedburner version of the feed.
