I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. If you would like to help debug the problem that would be greatly appreciated. You can do the following in order to provide important details that will help determine the root cause of this issue.

1) Quit the Ubuntu One client. Right-click on the Ubuntu One applet and select
'Quit'

2) Open Applications->Accessories->Terminal, then run the command:
mv ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log_old && mkdir ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log

3) Run the following in the Terminal to open/create this file:
gedit ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf

#Add the following two (2) lines to this file and save:
[__main__]
log_level = DEBUG

4) Open Ubuntu One Applications->Internet->Ubuntu One

5) Let Ubuntu One run for a while, copy some files into your Ubuntu One Folder.
Then attach your ubuntuone logs to this bug. Please zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here.

You can attach logs to this bug report by clicking the 'Add Attachment or patch' button at the bottom of the page. Thank you for filing this bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Thanks for your fast answer. I saw that UbuntuOne don`t synch data between client [on my computer] and server.
There is my log:

Thankyou for attaching the requested logs. I notice that you are experiencing SYS_HANDSHAKE_TIMEOUT & TANDOFF_WAITING_WITH_NETWORK_WITH_METAQ. Unfortunately these error messages are related to the current excess server load that is currently being experienced. Please note that the U1 team are working on this server load/ balancing issue.

If you see the STANDOFF errors in your syncdaemon.log, you can reset the syncdaemon by running the following command from a terminal window: "killall ubuntuone-login && killall ubuntuone-syncdaemon && killall ubuntuone-client-applet" (without the quotes).

Then run ubuntu one Applications --> Internet --> Ubuntu One

Hi pawel. File sync speed is a lot faster now & the server-side issues are fixed (although they are still being fine-tuned). Can you please advise whether you are still experiencing this issue?
If you are experiencing this issue, please upload fresh logs by archiving your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here.
Thanks in advance!

Hi. Now sync works fine. This problem solved. But I have one more question - new version of U1 doesn`t have applet in notification area? Because, even if U1 works, there is no icon there. What is more, I have no notifications about new files / removed files from U1 folder.

The applet has been removed in Lucid (& the beta PPA) packages. You can find some useful information on how to see what is happening when Ubuntu One is synchng at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RomanYepishev/UbuntuOne/ClientControl.
