Bug Description

Binary package hint: ufraw

The "Save As" dialogue in ufraw 0.9 and 0.9.1 saves the file at once. The "Save" button (default response) turns grey (as if it was pressed) and the file gets saved with any user input.

I've added gtk+ (version 2.10.x) as a possible source of the bug since ufraw 0.9.1 under Dapper (gtk+ 2.8.x) works.

confirming, that's the only GTK app having that issue so it's probably due to the app itself

AFAIK there isn't any API changes between GTK 2.8.x and 2.10.x to have caused this.

This patch from the UFRaw CVS repository fixes the problem.

This bug makes the UFRaw version released with Edgy quite unusable. Please consider releasing a fix - or an upgrade to the (just released) UFRaw 0.10.

Yes, this bug is causing me headaches as well, I'd love to see 0.10 make its way into backports.

current package version is 0.10, marking fixed then

Is it possible to get this into Edgy Backports? Rebuilding on edgy was easy, and since this is a serious interface bug in the edgy version of the package...

that package is an universe one, a patch backport would be a task for the MOTU team

Gotcha. Well, at least it'll be fixed in Feisty. :)

Can we mark the other packages as "fixed" for this bug, since it's been two releases now since this was a problem?
