under hardware drivers via system --> administration --> hardware drivers
says no proprietary drivers found - and there used to be drivers there....

eth1 is working otherwise I couldn't submit this bug....

but I can no longer work as - work depends on the wireless connection being functional.

Hope this bug is considered a priority.

Actually this bug should be moved into an upgrade category - all drivers are gone, webcam, sound, wireless.

Please make this a huge priority as I don't want other people who upgrade to go through this.

Thanks Much.

that's not a gnome-nettool issue, it doesn't have any code to manage drivers.

Hi Pedro,

I realized I filed the bug incorrectly when noticing all of my
proprietary drivers where missing. Can you move the bug to the
appropriate category or do I need to file a new bug? If so, would you
be so kind to send me the link to the proper category to file it in?

Thanks Much Pedro,

Stephanie

Hi spalmer8,

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.
