Bug Description

to replicate:
1 > log into a ubuntu computer via XDMCP over an
2 > try to run an application that uses tcltk (eg: amsn, or gitk )

$ echo $DISPLAY
::ffff:192.168.2.4:1.0

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release: 10.04

apt-cache policy tk

I get error messages like this:

This probably means that tk wasn't installed properly.

There is no support for deprecated version having died a long time ago
