LANG=en gufw

(process:3172): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
 Using the fallback 'C' locale.

That's all..

@Marcos, guwf didn't crashed or hang up, just displayed this message and don't refresh or give any output in his textbox entry, I expect that when I mark this option show me something that I don't know (because I don't understand really and just was a tested for see what that do). Please see the attached screenshot to understand what I mean.

Could you run this file too, please? (It will run the cat sentence and print 2 messages).
Save in a folder.
From terminal go to this folder and run as:
python 1.py

Put here the exit and remove that file.
Thanks!

@Marcos, no problem. The output of this script returns:

kamus@sid:~/Escritorio$ python 1.py
(256, 'cat: /var/log/gufw_log1.txt: No existe el fichero \xc3\xb3 directorio')
I don't see the file

I think you haven't got the standard language installed...
Final test, please ;)

Could you run these commands in the terminal:
echo "Testing" > 2.txt
cat 2.txt
Testing
LANG=C cat 2.txt
rm 2.txt
locale -a

And put here the exit, please? Thanks! ;)

Sorry, "Testing" isn't a command (it's a exit).
I repeat the correct commands:

echo "Testing" > 2.txt
cat 2.txt
LANG=C cat 2.txt
rm 2.txt
locale -a
