Bug Description

The laptop is a Dual boot 9.10 with Windows Vista. I upgraded 9.10 to 10.04 RC with dist-upgrade. After the upgrade, the only grub entry related to Windows was "Windows Recovery Environment", Windows Vista entry is gone. When I select the "Windows Recovery Environment" entry, the system only showed a blank screen. However, after 2-3 tries, Windows Vista boots o.k.

Looks like there are other with similar issue, please refer http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1440855

Since, many folks will use the Update Manager to upgrade to 10.04, this could potentially become an issue.

"Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel" is wrong.. This is a Lucid Upgrade using Update Manager and Grub2/Grub issue. Couldn't find a way to edit the description...

Possibly related:
Toshiba Satellite M200, installed & updated 10.04 Beta1 beside Vista & 9.04. The main Vista partition is incorrectly identified in the menu as recovery tools, and the Vista recovery partition incorrectly identified as Vista loader. 9.04 correctly identified, no other problems noticed to date, everything seems to boot properly.
