Bug Description
Binary package hint: bacula
ubuntu 10.04 LTS
I did an upgrade from karmic 9.04 to to Lucid 10.04.
After upgrade mysql became corrupted
it wouldn't start and removing became difficult
I updated some of the system files last night and added the bacula-director package
The package needed to communicate with mysql server which has been corrupted : it asked for the password to the mysql server
which cannot start the mysql in any case.
Bacula package could therefore not install completely.
It throws this error,

Can you please explain why this is considered a bug? If the database is corrupt (or at least, the operator configured the package to use a wrong database) isn't this "expected" behavior?
