Bug Description
netbook-launcher does not pick its font settings and does not display icons correctly at least when using compiz.
Using a script swith "sleep 3 && netbook-launcher &" as its content, solves the problem.
I guess this is more a problem of netbook-settings than of netbook-launcher but I couldn't find a way to report it there.

You can except a lot of bugs in using another compositing wm using GL that this effect. That's depend on your card and so on.
The default netbook-settings is set to metacity by default on that purpose.
