Bug Description

Binary package hint: postfix

I launched:
sudo apt-get install auto-apt

temporary solution:
create file /etc/init.d/postfix

I believe the cause was a:
sudo apt-get remove --purge postfix

In a fresh install, taking defaults for postfix configuration I was unable to reproduce this error on lucid RC. Could you please provide some more information on what you think may have caused this error ?
