Bug Description
Binary package hint: quilt
quilt-0.48 is out there since at least february 2009. Please update ubuntu package to newest version. It has some important changes and would be nice to have them.
It can be found here:

Fedora has newer version, and on ubuntu currently we have to download, compile and distribute it locally.

We have quilt 0.48-5 in Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid).
