Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

This is related to a previous bug I filed, but this time, I am using the latest Lucid Lynx packages of the driver. I tried to launch World of Goo (which I had configured to use xrandr to adjust screen resolution) and it resulted in my display going completely wacky. Right now, it is still flickering all over the place. It is the same effect I as the one I get when attempting to add a secondary monitor. I have reported the bug using the supplied command as well.

I took some pictures to add to this. The first shot is of my laptop LCD after manually killing X. Right now, I can't even get X back all the way after killing it.

Second pic shows a cloned display almost working. You can't tell, but the TV is wavy, and both screens are at some low resolution.

Third pic is what happens when I tried to just set my laptop LCD back to native resolution. The same thing happens if I try making an extended desktop.
