Bug Description
running make test (even with libeatmydata) takes an amazing amount of time.
We should have 'make test' take a reasonable amount of time and 'make big-test' (or something) do extended tests that take forever.

Fixed in a couple of changesets in trunk reducing loops around 2 tests from 100 (or 1000) to just 10.
