Bug Description

Binary package hint: transmission

When "open folder" is clicked on a specific torrent (in Transmission), the folder is opened but the torrent's folder/file is not marked in Nautilus. You have to search for it by yourself and there are usually a lot of other folders and files in the default folder location of the downloaded/downloading torrents.

Transmission uses g_app_info_launch_default_for_uri() to open the folder. There doesn't appear to be an API in this mechanism for selecting the torrent's file, so I don't know if this ticket is something that can be fulfilled.

In practice, this is a Nautilus bug. I marked it as a duplicate of the same bug in Firefox 3.5 as I can't find the original Nautilus one. If someone finds it, please change the duplicate (and change it for #129219 too).
