It should be possible to stop channel scanning without losing the channels found

Additionally to being able to cancel a channel scan it would be nice to have a way to stop the scan without losing the results gathered until then.

Just think of it this way: a channel scan is made and the user knows there are only 8 channels to find out there. Now me-tv finds all those 8 channels but the user has to sit and wait for a scan to finish which will not generate any additional results.

This is obviously rather a wishlist item than a real bug.

Sure, I can give it a test ride if you want me to. Just tell me when you either have a pre-built package ready or the commit number adding those changes.

Have committed some changes to the 1.2 branch that allow you to stop the scan but it's not complete. The buttons aren't in the right order and I think that the application might crash if it completes a scan. Should be easy fixes, tomorrow.
