Bug Description

I upgraded to lucid 2.6.32-21 from 19 kernel today on my desktop. After the kernel upgrade, I am not able to see the mouse cursor. This is causing incovenience,as I am finding it difficult to navigate the workspace.

If I boot into 19 kernel, I can see the mouse cursor.

Also, in 21 kernel, I tried to change my display resolution from 1280*1024 to 1024*768. I could see the cursor. But I again went back to 1280*1024 setting, which made the cursor invisible again. When I tried to go back to 1024*768, the system crashed.

Could this be a duplicate of #492782? Does the mouse reappear if you change back and fourth to a console with Crtl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7?

I stopped using Ubuntu, after this problem, since it was annoying to
navigate the workspace, without the Mouse cursor. I can try using the
Crtl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7 and let you know the results.
