Bug Description

when booting up Ubuntu, it will hang if it can't mount the following fstab entry:

share /mnt/share vboxsf defaults 0 0

which I use in Sun VirtualBox to mount my host pc's share directory.

uncommenting the entry solved the problem for me now, but it was very annoying because I had to boot up with the Ubuntu CD to uncomment it.
