lucid beta 2 offers me nvidia proprietary driver- it fails

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

It said I needed to use the proprietary driver to get 3-D effects etc.

I accepted, choosing the "(current version) [Recommended].

It said it failed and that I should look at jockey.log.

Exactly the same for me. I am using Lucid Beta 2, Compaq P4 with a GeForce2 MX/MX 400 graphics card and was prompted to install NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 96), but it failed as above. Is this still an issue? The GUI was saying it failed even if activation worked (which appears to be happening in these logs) for a bit but that problem should be fixed by now. I am closing this as fix released, but if it is not fixed please change the status back.
