Binary package hint: thunderbird

Hello,

This bug appears only when compiz is activate.

How to reproduce this bug :

Step 1 : Install Thunderbird (apt-get install thunderbird)

Step 2 : Launch Thunderbird

Step 3 : Try to Use Thunderbird, you can't use it.

I'm sorry, it's the contrary:
the first screen shot is when compiz is activated, the second without compiz

I'm testing with the same hardware except my ATI GPU. I change to nvidia GPU.

There is now no problem with compiz and proprietary nvidia driver.

So I think it's the driver of ati GPU:

apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-ati
xserver-xorg-video-ati:
  Installed: 1:6.13.0-1ubuntu5

Hello,
I have the same problem. Workaround: turning off visual effects, which work just fine in other applications. I just upgraded my system (10.04) and use a ATI GPU, too (Mobility Radeon M7 / 7500).
