Bug Description

Binary package hint: ttf-freefont

The well-known unicode code point 9731 (hex 2603), <http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2603/index.htm>, is rendered by the FreeMono font using what appears to be the glyph for 9732 (hex 2604) instead. This results in a comet appearing where a snowman is expected.

This is easily reproduced. For example, a screenshot is attached which uses Python to display this code point. The incorrect comet is clearly visible.
