Folders sync with web but files aren't downloaded

Hi All,

I'm using UNR Lucid beta 2 and trying to get ubuntu one to work on my netbook. The system is up to date as I update every day. This is my problem:

In my ubuntu one folder, the folder structures syncs correctly but all the folders are empty, The files never sync. This is only on syncing with content already on the web. I haven't tried to put files in the ubuntu one folder and have them sync to the web

This is what works:
Ubuntu one preferences has the right account and says:
"Synchonrisation in progress..."
Tomboy notes sync
The folders are there in my ubuntu one folder (as I mentioned above)

After a little digging I started using u1sdtool to get some more info, here is what I get:

$ u1sdtool -s
State: QUEUE_MANAGER
    connection: With User With Network
    description: processing queues
    is_connected: True
    is_error: False
    is_online: True
    queues: WORKING_ON_BOTH

$ u1sdtool --current-transfers
Current uploads: 0
Current downloads: 0

But it should be downloading as I've got 24gb left to download!

I've attached the sync daemon logs. Tell me if you need any more info.

I have the same problem that it syncs only folders.

Suddenly it is synchronizing the files!
Perhaps due to update of client or fix of serverbug...

u1sdtool -s

from what u1sdtool -s is returning it looks like it is working on your data. A lot of times if the folders are transferred (that is the metadata which is first) the files will come next. When run u1sdtool -s to show the status of your Ubuntu One connection: on first connecting there will be a "local scan", then a "server rescan", and then it should settle into a state that looks like:

State: QUEUE_MANAGER
    connection: With User With Network
    description: processing queues
    is_connected: True
    is_error: False
    is_online: True
    queues: WORKING_ON_BOTH

with is_connected and is_online being True. And queues not being IDLE

If you can, let it stay connected for awhile and see if the files show up. You can use u1sdtool --waiting-metadata & u1sdtool --waiting-content to see what is waiting to sync.

Hi Duanedesign,

I have been leaving it overnight to see if the files show up but no luck. Still:

$ u1sdtool --current-transfers
Current uploads: 0
Current downloads: 0

When I use u1sdtool --waiting-metadata I just get back a whole lot of "query"
When I use u1sdtool --waiting-content, there is a whole lot of content waiting to download but obviously it is not!

and my status looks fine as you described:

$ u1sdtool -s
State: QUEUE_MANAGER
    connection: With User With Network
    description: processing queues
    is_connected: True
    is_error: False
    is_online: True
    queues: WORKING_ON_BOTH

Also, The folders all have green tick on the icons even though they haven't downloaded any of the files in them

Running ubuntuone on lucid rc I am affected by this bug.
notes and contacts sync all right - but documents do not

on running test suite in couchdb I am getting errors in
oauth ("assertion failed: xhrs.status==200")
config ("assertion failed:config.httpd.port==port")
view_conflicts ("doc.bar==43")
view_include.docs ("Document update conflict")
view_collation locks browser up
