solr not getting updated

I did some edits and expected to see those changes in search results but that is not happening.

Case#1: merged 2 duplicates of http://upstream.openlibrary.org/authors/OL3068395A/Sri_Sri_Ravi_Shankar

 The book count on this page is not updated and some works are missing in that page.

For example: http://upstream.openlibrary.org/works/OL9896612W/The_Art_of_Living

Infobase query seems to be returning all the works.

Also, author search is still showing the merged authors.

Case#2: I changed the name of http://upstream.openlibrary.org/authors/OL617A and that is not reflecting in the search engine.

There was a bug that mean the author index wasn't being updated. Yesterday I fixed it and restarted the solr index at 2010-04-01. It is taking some time to catch up. That's why the search isn't being updated.

I've now changed it so there are two solr updates running, one for new updates and another processing the logs from the start of the month. The new solr update should catch up in a few hours.
