Just to state my position on this bug: I filed it on user request on #564353. My work towards its resolution is done on the Debian side: the package is available on Squeeze and doesn't need any work to get synced on Ubuntu.

The ball's clearly in the Ubuntu side: I don't have time nor motivation to get this "done right" for Lucid.

There is still no update available.

The Sony crash is fixed in 1.1.1 (see #564353). 1.1.2 is properly tested.

What else do I have to to?

It's good to have it on Maverick.

But how can people get it for Lucid ?
