Bug Description

Binary package hint: ipe

As said in the subject, lucid's version refuses to load files created with version 6.

I don't really expect this bug to be fixed, but for those who need it, I patched karmic's ipe package to be installable alongside version 7 from lucid; the package is called ipe6 (and so is the executable inside) and is to be found in my PPA https://launchpad.net/~eudoxos/+archive/ppa/+packages. (The source package is, perhaps confusingly, still called "ipe") I renamed all files susceptible of conflicts with version 7 to be *6.

Cheers, Vaclav

I'm going to mark this bug as invalid since this is documented in ipe 7 manual: http://ipe7.sourceforge.net/manual/manual_ipe6_to_ipe7.html

Changed in ipe (Ubuntu):

Oh, great, I somehow missed those ipeextract and ipe6upgrade commands. Thanks.
