Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Dual boot 9.10/10.4 beta. All updates performed. Firefox simply will not run. I have purged and reinstalled with no change. There was an error indicating that several files having to do with Kerbos be updated, and including libpam-modules and libpam09. When I attempted to upgrade, I was told they were not authenticated and might be the result of someone trying to gain access to my machine. However, when I aborted that and asked Synaptic to mark all upgrades, 255 packages were upgraded, including a kernel. I rebooted, but the problem persists. Opera and Chrome perform normally.
