Bug Description

Hello.
I have a problem in Me TV 1.1.6 and 1.2.0.
The Korean program title & description are not displayed in EPG information.
I attached screen shots of 1.1.6.(1.2.0 EPG is same as 1.1.6)
As you can see, there is no program title/description below times in EPG.
And program details also show only program date, time and no title or description.
I also attached me-tv -v output of 1.1.6, 1.2.0 versions after run sqlite EPG event clear command.

The attached file, CaptureLog.tar.gz is including below files in it;
- Cap-EPG.png: Main Me TV screen capture displaying EPG.
- Cap-Program Details.png: Detail program window capture.
- metvlog-1.1.6: me-tv -v output of 1.1.6 version after sqlite EPG event clear command.
- metvlog-1.2.0: me-tv -v output of 1.2.0 version after sqlite EPG event clear command.

Please let me know if you need more information to investigate this issue.

Hello, Michael.
Do you have any suggestion/guide to confirm over-the-air EPG encode information?
I try to find tool for this but I can't see any useful utility.
For your information, I attached "TSReader lite" tool output by one of Korea ATSC channel recording file.
But this output also not showing details of EPG encoding..

In src/dvb_si.cc, the SectionParser::parse_psip_eis() method is responsible for parsing ATSC EPG data, that's assuming that there is some data that actually makes it in here.

No.
As I requested before please let me know method or tool to doing over-the-air EPG encoding information dump.
And I'm not program development expert so I have no idea about manipulate dbv_si.cc source code that you mentioned.

Then we are at a stalemate. When did become my job to research a DVB tool for you. You need an errand boy, not a software developer :)

Ok, I understand that you have no skill to resolve this issue.
What I want to know was that your opinion about tool you know for this situation.
When did I asked to find/search those DVB tools as you said "errand boy's works"?
And you also looks like didn't tried make some tiny utility/tool by yourself using the dvb_si.cc source code that you said before.
You looks like need more developer to work with you but unfortunately I'm not the one you looking for..
Sorry for disturbing you all this time by this "Korean EPG stuff of MeTV".
I will no more ask or request about MeTV related problem again.

Thanks and bye.

Let me give you one last suggestion for you.

In the status category, you need to add a new one as "No skill to fix".

I think "Won't fix" is improper closing status for this bug but "No skill to fix" is adequate description.

There are a lot of scenarios that aren't covered by these statuses but I don't control the list of statuses. Talk to the launchpad project (https://launchpad.net/launchpad) about getting a new status created.
