Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
I am using the TB that comes in Ubuntu 8.04. I have filter that has been sending multiple posts to it's folder. The posts are all the same content, no matter who the sender is. The same post is displayed through many senders. I fixed this once by renaming the folder, creating a new folder, and redoing the filter to point back to the new folder. This lasted 2-3 weeks.
I should be getting 200 posts a day to this folder, and now, I'm getting one new sender each time I click get mail. tI is usually replicated 3-4 times, and when I open the post, it is still the same post as before, and now, there is only the highlighted one.
All of my other filter/folders are working properly.

The liberal majority in Congress is ramming through their government take over of health care and they don't care what you or I have to say about it. The leader of their radical agenda is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The same Harry Reid that says our economy is experiencing "robust growth" and thinks it's "really good" when "only" 36,000 people in America lose their jobs. conservativeame rica-online- news.com/ go.php/ 665640/ 1257893/ 4395231">Please follow this link now to take Harry Reid's Senate seat away from liberal interest groups and return it to the people of my state.</a>
<br><br>
Last week Harry Reid sent out an email attacking me and claiming that his big government health care bill is not "government run health care"! News reports indicate that Reid and his allies in Washington are going to silence the concerns of the American people and use the "nuclear option" to ram through his health care bill. <b>If elected to the United States Senate a top priority of mine will be to overturn "Robust Reid's" government run health care.</b>

I do have some good news. Conservative principles are beating Harry Reid and his radical, liberal allies. If the election were held today, our conservative campaign would defeat Harry Reid by 13 points; 52% of Harry Reid's constituents would vote to kick him out of the Senate and elect me to the United States Senate. We are surging ahead of Harry Reid's failed ideas and we're defeating our nearest primary opponent by an 18-point margin -- 47 to 29 percent.

As more and more conservatives are responding to our positive, solutions-based message and joining our campaign, our opponents are stepping up their false, negative attacks. The latest liberal interest group to help Harry Reid fulfill his promise to "vaporize" me is his long-standing ally: big labor union bosses. <b>A few days ago, the <i>Las Vegas Review Journal</i> ran the headline "Labor works to beat Lowden."</b>
<br><br>
Union bosses have had Harry Reid in their pocket for a long time and they have been out to "beat" me for almost as long. <b>The union bosses will never forget that I not only defeated their sitting state Senate Majority Leader -- turning our state Senate Republican -- I also successfully fought to protect my state's Right to Work law.</b>
