Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
My "Visual Effects" was set to "Normal" when i was using Ubuntu 9.10. When i upgraded to the beta 2 version of Ubuntu 10.04, it switched back to "None." When i try to change it back to "Normal" or "Extra" it asks me if i want to keep these display settings, i confirm, but nothing changes and "None" is re-selected.

Is this still an issue? The GUI was saying it failed even if activation worked (it does require a reboot to enable effects anyway after activation) but that problem should be fixed by now. I am closing this as fix released, but if it is not fixed please change the status back and sorry for the trouble!
