Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

Apparently it requires a source iSO image. If none is selected, the "doit" button (whatever its called) is not grayed out.

After selecting a source ISO image, when I select "/dev/sdb" which apparently is not right, it grays out, and then comes back when I select /dev/sdb1 which is apparently the right choice.

I'm not sure what that ISO needs to be like. Will it work for say a Windows XP install disk? As far as I know, it asks for an iso and it should work. If not it should say so.

Also, when as I suggest the doit button is grayed out, the program needs to show something like:

Status: Select a source ISO image to work from.

When I select "sdb" (which apparently is not good, I should select sdb1) it should say:

status: select a partition, not the whole disk.

(or maybe: "sdb is not formatted with ext4 as required for this program")
