Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

System: Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala
Package: 3.6.4.~hg20100410r34032+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~umd1~karmic (karmic)

executable path: /usr/bin/firefox
Trying to start firefox after creating a brand new profile with no add-ons had the same result as my default profile:

john@john-pirate:~$ firefox -ProfileManager

Killed

Firefox (Namoroka) was working perfectly until, after the late system update (early days of April) when Firefox crashes on start! The same situation exists in two different machines - my laptop and my PC.
For the moment I use Google Chrome....

I was told to go back to Firefox 5, but I think that we should look ahead not backwards...

Same here .. last ubuntu upgrade killed namaroka. I'm on Kubuntu here.
