Static looking box envelops the window

A gray static looking box covered the browser window. I'm using the live CD, so maybe this wouldn't happen on the install. I tried to get a screenshot, except as soon as I did the box went away.

If you are unable to take a snapshot of the issue, can you please describe the problem in more detail? Is it a gray line that borders the window, or does the whole window turn gray? Or maybe it was something else entirely?

I didn't have the problem with the 10.04 LTS Live CD, so I'm assuming it just went away.
