audex closes my session

Bug Description
Binary package hint: audex
Ubuntu 9.10 kernel .....20 ( i mean the latest one available in upgrade)
(kubuntu with ubuntu in fact i work under ubuntu installed under kubuntu)
When i launch audex, it crahes my session and i could not start a new one till i completely halted my computer and restart it.
It worked only once !
After i had the message that i had a problem with the gestion of the energy.
And my printer program could not find any systray.
And my screen stays black with the cross only.
The problem is the same with a new installation of ubuntu (only) but i'm sure the reason is on my home patrition that i keep.
i found a solution for systray with gconf2 and i will see if that solves my problem.
i wanted to suggest you to have a look on audex program.
I had two upgrades but it was after launching audex and rebooting.
So maybe my systray problem is not due to audex but the last upgrades.
i will let you know by mail.
What is sure is audex has crashed my session !
