Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

1)
Running Ubuntu lucid 10.04 beta 2.

2)
Package gnome-panel "Main Menu" applet 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu1

3)
Added "Main Menu" applet to botton panel.
Open in "Main Menu" System->Preferences menu wich is larger than screen height.
Scroll the menu using mouse wheel to see the portion of the menu that cannot fit in the screen.
Or Scroll the menu putting the mouse on the botton arrow.

4)
With the mouse wheel the next menu item is highlighted an inmediately goes back to the previous item.
With the mouse over the botton arrow the menu scrolls correctly but moving the mouse to select one of
the items revealed the menu jumps back to the previous view.
This happens with Ambiance, Radiance and Dust* themes selected and work OK with Clearlooks, New Wave
and High Contrast* themes.

I have observed the same behavior in VirtualBox virtual machine running directly from the beta 2 cd image and
in an Acer AO531 netbook computer running an installed system.

Using the equivalent menu with Menu-bar works OK.
