Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Some letters as I said are written over the others and some are too far so any imputed text is difficould and sometimes impossible to read if it is possible to regulate this without reinstalling ubuntu it would be nice as I really am tired to reinstall my ubuntu :(

thanks for the report, do you get the same using terminator (Terminal emulator) or xterm?

natakene, you can do the following: open a terminal window and type : sudo apt-get install terminator

yeah but the thing is that the letters might be OK there as they are in xterm

so the terminator is having the same problem as terminal

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
