Bug Description

Hello,

I have benchmarked my wifi (WUSB54G) performances with different OSes, drivers and kernel builds.
My conclusions are:
Windows :
 - automatic driver : 1.7 Mo/s
 - linksys driver : 1.7 Mo/s
Ubuntu 9.10 32bit :
 - automatic driver generic kernel : 1.1 Mo/s
 - automatic driver rt kernel : 1.7 Mo/s
 - linksys driver via ndis-wrapper generic kernel : 1.7 Mo/s
Ubuntu 10.04 64bit :
 - automatic driver generic kernel : 1.1 Mo/s
 - automatic driver rt kernel : 1.7 Mo/s

My quesrion is (of course) why is my wifi slower (of 50%) with the generic kernel, where with the RT build I reach "normal" speed ?

Thanks and regards, Jeff
