Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
If you use the window menu to send a not fullscreen window to a different workspace, the window will be located in a different position (x and y).
Reproduce:
1. Using default compiz "Normal" settings.
2. Using Gnome 2.30 with Ubuntu Lucid Beta 2
3. Open an application, like gnome-terminal
4. Don't put the application to fullscreen mode
5. Check window's current position with "xwininfo"
6. Right-click the window title bar and select "Move to Workspace Right".
7. Check the newer window's position at the other workspace.
Results:
1. Original position:
Absolute upper-left X: 1
Absolute upper-left Y: 49
Relative upper-left X: 1
Relative upper-left Y: 49
2. After moving it to the second workspace:
Absolute upper-left X: 2
Absolute upper-left Y: 74
Relative upper-left X: 2
Relative upper-left Y: 74
3. Back to the first workspace:
Absolute upper-left X: 3
Absolute upper-left Y: 99
Relative upper-left X: 3
Relative upper-left Y: 99
4. Back to the second one:
Absolute upper-left X: 4
Absolute upper-left Y: 124
Relative upper-left X: 4
Relative upper-left Y: 124
