Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdepim

Went through all the config options Google provides:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287

Examples showing how I've configured Kmail:

I've used both TLS and SSL, and even TLS port 25 though Google doesn't mention that it allows that. Wish there was more info in the terminal to help me diagnose the problem, but I'm not seeing it. Also, I used ubuntu-bug to report this so I'm assuming the guidelines for reporting a bug (release of Ubuntu, version of package, etc) is already taken care of. If not, I'll log back in and make corrections.

Also, I wonder if Kmail is attempting to use sendmail. When I click 'use sendmail', the window disappears as if I clicked 'ok', but no further windows pop-up wanting me to configure. If it's attempting to use sendmail, how might you reverse this?

Changed in kdepim (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

Invalid? Hehe, I'm invalid now? ;) What outlet is suggested from here? I'm asking in #kubuntu, but so far no luck.
