Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
OS: Ubuntu 10.04 beta2 + all updates from update-manager
This happens only the first time right after you install package gstreamer0.
Totem opens a new window just to play movie in it(no buttons or anything else in that window).
How to repeat:
1. You go to Youtube search menu in Totem.
2. Find a song.
3. right mouse click on it and select Add to Playlist.
4. Totem complains that codec is missing so let him search for it.
5. Totem finds package gstreamer0.
6. Install the package
7. Totem starts to play the song but opens a new external window only for the movie(otherwise plays normally)
Additional:
If you close the window with the movie Totem still plays the movie but time of playing doesn't move forward and clicking on pause/play button after the song ends doesn't do anything.
Every next time that you play a song Totem behaves correctly (no external window for the movie).
To repeat the bug after the first song just go to synaptic package manager and completely remove package gstreamer0.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Domen
