Bug Description

I just got what looks like a route fsck during boot. It made the progress I'd expect, until it got stuck at "Checking disk 1/1: 75%."

Pressing <ctrl><alt>-F* to get to text consoles had no effect. Nor did <esc>. (The hotkeys for screen and keyboard backlight did work).

I interrupted with the power button and rebooted; this time I got to the login screen without fsck.

Confirmed; not seen it myself but I'm seeing multiple people on #ubuntu+1 hitting the same thing. The % varies, they can generally get around it by fscking using a live cd.
