Bug Description

Binary package hint: kvm

I used nautilus as the report "vehicle", but the problem is with kvm/libvirt/virt-manager.
Today's 74 packages updates (see screenshots later on) cause an extreme kvm slowdown. Starting the same VM that yesterday took 27 secons now takes 5 minutes 5 seconds!

kvm 1:84+dsfg-0ubuntu16+0.12.3+noroms+0ubuntu4 -> 1:84+dsfg-0ubuntu16+0.12.3+noroms+0ubuntu5
qemu-kvm 0.12.3+noroms-0ubuntu4 -> 0.12.3+noroms-0ubuntu5
libvirt0 0.7.5-5ubuntu17 -> 0.7.5-5ubuntu21
virt-manager 0.8.2-2ubuntu8 no change

I think I fixed this earlier today.

Can you upgrade your qemu-kvm and still reproduce this?

Changed in kvm (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
importance: Undecided → High

Dear Dustin,
Yes, qemu-kvm 0.12.3+noroms-0ubuntu6 resolved my problem.
Thank you for the quick response - it must have night work for you.
Kind regards, Dick
