Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

Gimp crashed when I tried to do "save as" (File menu -> save as).

I have a similar bug seems to be affecting OpenOffice (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/558437) and gnumeric (no bug report filed). I think this may be a bug in gtk or gnome, not necessarily gimp (or openoffice, or gnumeric), since the same operation ("save as") triggers an immediate crash in all three programs.

Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
