After a couple of turns freecol always crashes. I'm using openjdk

I also just got a crash, using freecol 0.9.2 from the getdeb though.
Just to make sure, it's the same problem: Could you try running freecol from a terminal and look if the output after the crash looks similar to the one I get?

If so, could you also try to try starting java with "-server"? That seems to fix it for me.

Sorry, false information. Using "-server" does not fix it, it just kept running for longer, which might be coincidence though.

The error is just a standard JVM internal error and doesn't have much info. But it's useful anyway as I didn't notice freeciv was written in java (apt works well) and as it's an openJDK internal error I think the bug belongs there: I added it as an affected project.

I uploaded the crash report (apport didn't do it automatically). It's bzipped as launchpad timed out while I uploaded the original one.

With the current openjdk I'm not able to reproduce this anymore, thus I'm closing it.
