Bug Description

After docking thunderbird 3 (from the ubuntu-mozila-daily repository) you can nolonger drag and drop emails to other folders.

You can however use the "Move to folder..." menu option

This is very similar to bug #147751 but is for Thunderbird rather than Evolution

Running out of a terminal I get two warnings

* (thunderbird-bin:3485): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times
This appears to be a thunderbird warning and appears if I run thunderbird directly or with alltray

* (alltray:3463): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_user_time called on non-toplevel
This only appears if running tunderbird in alltray. I get this every time hide thunderbird (ie click on the x ) but not on show

This is version 0.69 retrieved from the Ubuntu karmic repositories

I am running Gnome 2.28.1 with Compiz (Ubuntu 9.10 updated to the 7th April 2010)

Drag-and-drop in old AllTray only works on certain window managers and under certain circumstances. Currently, AllTray's development line does not interfere with drag-and-drop, but it has the problem that it currently does not support close-to-tray. However, I have come up with what is (I hope) a method to accomplish that without losing drag and drop.

I will leave this bug open and I will accept patches against the old-maintenance branch to fix it—however, if it is not fixed in old-maintenance (and I suspect that it won't; it's too difficult to do without breaking the rest of old AllTray) then I will close this bug when the next stable release of AllTray is released, which currently has an undefined timeframe (I am sorry).
