Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

When trying to change my nickname in Empathy, using the protocol msn-pecan, Empathy simply does not realize the change. Photo and personal messages of state are modified, but the nickname remains the e-mail address registered in the protocol.

Well, that's easy:
 - Install msn-pecan.
 - In empathy, add an account with msn-pecan protocol.
 - Choose "Edit - Personal data" in the menu (I'm translating that from my language and may not be correct).
 - Edit the nickname for the newly created account, then click Close.
 - Again, open the "Personal data" dialog. The nickname is again equal to the e-mail address. Also, in conversations the e-mail address is shown when you send a message, not the desired nickname.
