Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
Using Lucid Lynx beta. Fully updated.
I start Lucid, and come to the log in screen.
I click my user name. The password entry box appears, but gdm appears to hang. The mouse stops moving, and no black circles appear in the password box. After about 5 seconds the screen blanks and gdm restarts with the "Click your name" box.
I am able to login to tty1. I tried setting Timed login, but that failed
There is a similar bug, but that was invalid - #496772
