Bug Description
Did a fresh install of 9.10; when it came up it installed various patches. It automatically wanted to get Nvidia going, but then on reboot X had problems starting. After it came up again (presumably with the previous config), I upgraded it to 10.04. The whole upgrade failed, apparently, because of this bug.
