Wow, talk about verbose bug description. At least the backtrace gave more info than the user. This is an out-of-memory issue, same as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593377

0.93 is now available in Ubuntu 14.04, which fixes the importing issue. The rest (memory usage) is another story.
